MASSLab is an award-winning Portuguese Architecture Studio based in Oporto and we are launching an international internship program, where students can have the opportunity to be with us for a period, working on real projects taken by the office.

 

 

We would like to create a cooperation agreement between us and your institution so we could receive your students in our internship program. We are looking for creative and innovative candidates who understands our practice, in a subjects such as architecture, urban planning, interior design.

 

All interns will be part of the architecture team, engaging with the office commissions and participate in architectural competitions.

MASSLab offers a dynamic, creative and informal work environment and has an open, friendly and inspiring office culture. The required language is English.

 

If you have any students that are interested in joining an internship at MASS Lab, please let us know or indicate our studio to your students, so we can review all applications.

ABOUT MASSLAB

MASSLab is a group of architects and designers operating within the field of architecture, urbanism, interior and landscape design, supported by multidisciplinary design team spans seven nationalities, featuring a fertile mix of professional and educational backgrounds. Currently we are involved in several private commissions and in open competitions around the globe, giving the opportunity to interns explore and develop their capabilities. 

Our architecture emerges from multicultural exchange, inventing new possibilities that combine an exploratory approach with thorough research and analysis. We continuously enter into strategic collaborations with experts in different work fields, to guarantee the best response from the initial approach to the construction site.

We believe that team-work across expertise areas, cultural backgrounds and ages generate new answers to conventional tasks. We have an informal work environment where collegial support is highly valued and where ambition, high work morale and dedication to being better and better in our field, unifies the staff.
