54th Congress of the Italian Society of Vegetation Science (online)
The 54th Congress of the Italian Society for vegetation Science was set to be hold in June 2020 at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Rome. The explosion of the COVID-19 pandemic in the spring of last year led first to move the congress to October 2020 and then definitively to September 2021. The SISV 2021 congress will therefore be carried out as a virtual conference.
The 54th Congress of the Italian Society of Vegetation Science (SISV) will cover a range of different topics. Some of these will be of particular applicative interest, e.g. those concerning the contribution of Vegetation Science in problems related to description, classification and management of Forest communities, 42/93 EEC Directive habitats interpretation and green infrastructures planning and design. A free session will allow participants to present the results of their research on topics other than those indicated as the main ones of the Congress.
