International design workshop/Graduation laboratory (Architecture and Restoration) Reading and designing the area of Lambousa-Karavas, Cyprus

Il Workshop avrà la durata complessiva di dieci giorni, si terrà dal 19 novembre al 29 novembre 2014 alla Girne American University, Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts a Cipro Nord e avrà come oggetto lo studio e il progetto di sistemazione dell’area di Lambousa-Karavas, comprendente l’area archeologica di Lapithos, la chiesa e il monastero bizantino di Achiropitou e la chiesa di Ag. Eulalios. La partecipazione è aperta agli studenti Sapienza iscritti al quinto anno del corso di laurea in Architettura-Restauro e del corso di laurea UE, ai dottorandi, ai masterizzandi e agli specializzandi dei corsi in Architettura (Sapienza). I partecipanti potranno continuare il lavoro svolto durante il workshop nell’ambito di un laboratorio di laurea dedicato al medesimo tema che verrà attivato nel corso dell’anno accademico 2014-2015. Si incoraggiano le pre-iscrizioni (segnalazione di interesse – gratuita e non vincolante – entro il 15 agosto 2014). The workshop will have a duration of ten days, fromNovember 19 to November 29, 2014, at Girne American University, Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts, northern Cyprus and will be dedicated to the study and design of the area of Lambousa-Karavas, including the archaeological area of ​​Lapithos, the church and the Byzantine monastery of Achiropitou and the church of Ag. Eulalios. Participation is open to Sapienza students enrolled in the fifth year of the course in Architecture-Restoration and EU degree, doctoral candidates, master students and specialization students of courses in Architecture of Sapienza. Participants will continue the work done during the workshop as part of an graduation laboratory dedicated to the same theme, which will be activated during the academic year 2014-2015. We encourage pre-registration(indicating interest - free, non-binding - no later thanAugust 15, 2014). SCADENZA PER LE ISCRIZIONI: 30 settembre 2014.

Per partecipare alla selezione si prega di compilare il modulo di iscrizione, che verrà inviato per posta elettronica, ed spedirlo per mail entro il 30 settembre 2014, unitamente a una scansione del certificato degli esami sostenuti con il voto ottenuto. Qualora il numero di richieste di partecipazione dovesse superare il numero di cinque si procederà ad una selezione basata sulla valutazione curricolare (media dei voti degli esami sostenuti).La partecipazione al workshop è gratuita, la Girne American University, Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts ospiterà i partecipanti al workshop. Le altre spese sono a carico dei partecipanti. Il modulo di iscrizione verrà inviato per mail agli interessati che ne faranno richiesta per posta elettronica.

Toparticipate in the selection please fill in the registration form, which will be sent by e-mail, and send it via email by 30 September 2014 together with a scan of the certificate of exams with the grade. If the number of requests for participation exceeds five we will proceed to a selection based on the curriculum (average of marks of exams). Participation to the workshop is free, the Girne American University, Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts will host the workshop participants. Other expenses will be covered by the participants. The registration form will be sent by email to interested parties who request it by e-mail.
